    2. Do you have a copy of the Obit of Velora Hashman (age 79 - Lineville)? If so could you email it to me (or FAX it and I'll scan it I was born in Lineville and I am 74. I remember Velora. My great grandmother was Amy Hashman (Barber) Thanks, Fred Barber Obit: Velora Hashman Nancy Velora Hashman, daughter of Bryan Lucian and Bessie Florence (Nickell) Shockey, was born in Decatur County, Iowa northwest of Lineville, on May 7, 1925, and passed away on March 8, 2005, at the Wayne County Hospital in Corydon, Iowa, at the age of 79 years. Velora was united in marriage to Willus "Gene" Hashman on September 19, 1944. Gene preceded her in death on October 18, 1999. She was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Bill Shockey and infants Ray Dean and Bobby Shockey; and by one sister, Leona Shockey. she is survived by two daughters: Vickie Stewart and husband Dennis of Gilman, IA and Brenda McCabe and husband Troy of Camdenton, MO; three sons: Randal Hashman of Princeton, MO, Dennis Hashman of Eldon, MO, and Frank Hashman and wife Dana of Newton, IA; one brother, Carl Shockey and wife Rose of Newton; two sisters: Violet Rutledge of Independence, MO and Betty Rockhold and husband Jerry of Lineville; nine grandchildren; one stepgranddaughter; eight great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren; and by other relatives and friends. Velora was raised in Lineville and was a 1943 graduate of Lineville High School. She and Gene made their home in Newton, IA for 30 years, where Velora worked for a short time for the Maytag Company. After Gene's retirement from Maytag, they moved to Camdenton, MO, where they lived for 10 years before movine to Lineville in September of 1986. Velora was a member of the Lineville Assembly of God Church and the Duncan-Smith American Legion Post #506 Auxiliary of Lineville. She dearly loved flowers.
