I have a photo clipping of this church that was published in the Leon Journal Reporter 23 Jul 1977. The original photo belonged to Mrs. Lafe Mitchell, and was submitted for publication by Winnie Evans (former teacher of Homer Fletcher). The church is constructed of hewn, chinked logs. Members of the congregation are posed in front of the church. Surnames listed are: Manchester, Stanford, Johnson, Warren, Smith, Mitchell, and McAlla. The church was located east of the former Fletcher farm, off of current-day R52 (Leon-Lineville road) (Eden Township). The church no longer exists, but the cemetery remains on the north and south sides of the country road leading to the former church site. The photo is not of high quality, but is scannable, if anyone wishes to have it forwarded. Carroll, Virginia
