Janet, there are two RAMSEY names in the book "Down 100 Years". There is an: Alexander RAMSEY b. 1832 in Tennessee; came to Decatur County in 1851; wife Sarah EDWARDS; children Alvis, Evaleen, Viola, Ida, John. Occupation: Farmer; Church - Baptist; died 1915. ************************************************* RAMSEY, James b,. 1825 Tennessee. Came to Decatur County 1850; wife Margaret BAKER; children Thomas, Nervesta, William, Isabelle, John. Occupation: Farner, Church - Baptist. Died 1909.
