Just got word that my great-nephew Augustus arrived safe and sound at 8# 14 oz. My nephew had to drive my niece-in-law through the blizzard (top speed of 45 mph) to get to Des Moines in time for his arrival at 6:07 on Christmas morning. Everyone is doing just fine. Fortunately, my nephew is a cool guy - it takes a lot to rattle him. This, however, almost did it for him.
