Decatur County Journal Leon, Iowa Thursday, October 5, 1911 MIDA ALMA TEATERS, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S.M. TEATERS, was born January 11, 1889 in Wayne County, Iowa, and died in Leon, Iowa, September 27, 1911, at the age of 22 years, 8 months and 16 days. The deceased had not been strong during her life and on Wednesday morning suddenly passed away. The funeral was held from the Methodist Church Thursday at 2:30, conducted by the Pastor E.M. Hoff. The body was laid to rest in the Leon Cemetery. The pall bearers were six young ladies, Misses Goldie Smith, Nellie Gloaker, Theda Hinds, Bertha DeWece, Mabel Smith, Mrs. Roy Gore.
