That house was a stage coach stop.  I heard stories that it was built around 1880 from older members of my family who used to live down around the old Dekab area.  Unfortunately they have all passed on.    I know the family who had lived there previously, and heard that they left the house in poor condition (which quite honestly does not suprise me).
