Decatur County Journal Leon, Iowa Thursday, March 25, 1920 On February 18th, 1920, NOAH P. BULLOCK celebrated his 82nd birthday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. P.F. JOHNSON, of Soquel, Calif. Mr. BULLOCK went from Oklahoma to California the first of last December. Only the home folks were present including the families of two of Mr. and Mrs. JOHNSON's children, MARTHA, now Mrs. C.S. COLYAR, of Oakland, who has two children, ROBERT and JEAN, and the oldest son, ROBERT, who with wife and children, DOLORES and KENNETH, live in San Jose. The four little ones are great grandchildren of Mr. BULLOCK. The next day after the birthday he went by auto to visit these grandchildren in their homes, stopping first with ROBERT in San Jose. After visiting with the COLYAR family in Oakland he plans to go to Reno, Nevada, where the second son of Mr. and Mrs. JOHNSON is finishing high school this year. Between Mr. BULLOCK and this grandson, NOAH P JOHNSON, is a very close tie of love and confidence. When the Reno school is out they will both come to Soquel. Mr. BULLOCK received many cards of birthday wishes and greetings from friends in Leon, also from Oklahoma where he lived for many years after leaving Leon. ----------------------------------------------------------- Copied by Nancee(McMurtrey)Seifert April 30, 2010 iggy29@grm.net
