Decatur County Journal Leon, Iowa Thursday, March 11, 1920 At high noon on Monday, March 8th, 1920, at the Christian parsonage, Leon, occurred a delightful and happy wedding when Mr. ROY C. WILSON and Miss LENA S. BRECHTEL, of Weldon, were united in the bonds of holy wedlock, Rev. P.H. Green officiating. A short form of the beautiful ring ceremony was used on this happy occasion. The bride is a daughter of JOSEPH and ISA BRECHTEL, of Weldon, an accomplished young lady, possessing to a marked degree those beautiful traits of character that add so much to the charms of sweet womanhood. The groom is a son of STEPHEN A. and FRANCES WILSON, of Weldon, a young man of exemplary habits of life, industrious and honorable in all his relations, having the esteem and confidence of all who know him. Mr. and Mrs. WILSON will make their home on a farm where they will be pleased to meet their many friends. ----------------------------------------------------- Copied by Nancee(McMurtrey)Seifert April 30, 2010 iggy29@grm.net
