I took some time out to try -- once again -- to find the Warrick Cemetery yesterday.. I headed south on R15, which is right out of Murray and used my odometer to try and follow the Google map I have. Clover Rd. going East - eluded me for a bit, but I finally got on it and seeing it was gravel, went along feeling pretty plucky that I'd found it.. However, just over the hill it turns into dirt/mud road.. I decided to navigate it for the next mile - hoping the whole time I wouldn't get stuck out in the boonies.. I followed the rest of the directions and voila (WALA) there it was on top of the hill. . It is such a beautifully kept little cemetery; had been mowed and all the leaves raked over to the far side of the fence.. Many of the stones have been re-set and it shows that somebody loves this little cemetery... The wind was blowing so hard, but the sun was shining... There are 2 huge old oak trees at the gate entrance and if I'd had J.R.'s 100 ft. tape, I'd have measured their girths just so I could tell you all about them. Awesome... I did find a different way back home so I didn't have to navigate the mud road... It's always amazed me that when you take off on a gravel road, you may NEVER ever find your way home -- they just go on forever and forever and forever...... Just wanted to let you know.. Nancee
