I've taken 2 Master Gardener classes - one in Iowa and one in Indiana.. We had a short entomology study and I was taught that only the FEMALE MOSQUITO bites - to get the blood to feed her larvae. She likes both humans and animals... Never underestimate the power of a FEMALE of any species.... smiles.. Nancee
