    3. Decatur County Journal Leon, Iowa Thursday, April 22, 1920 Mrs. W.S. WARNOCK passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. LOU SILTZ, in Lamoni Sunday, April 11th, and her remains were brought to Davis City Tuesday afternoon and buried beside her husband who had preceded her several years. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Cottingham, the M.E. Minister at Lamoni. The social aid of the M.E. Church met with Mrs. AARON HENDERSON Thursday afternoon. A very pleasant time was reported. The ladies will meet with Mrs. THURMAN CRAIG April 29th. Mrs. LON BUELL was taken ill suddenly last week with appendicitis. Dr. Reed took her to St. Joseph Tuesday. At this time she is getting along fine and will soon be able to return home. Uncle JIM BOLDMAN returned last week from Ohio where he had spent the winter with his daughter, Mrs. ALICE STROPES. FRANCE HAMILTON moved into the HENRY STANDIFER property last week. JAKE MARTIN moved into the DAVIE WOOD property where FRANCE HAMILTON vacated Mr. and Mrs. JOHN SELL and son, LESTER, returned from Long Beach, California Saturday. They stopped at Davis City where they will visit their daughter, Mrs. ARTHUR DOOLITTLE, and Mrs. SELL's parents, Mr. and Mrs. JAKE MARTIN. Mrs. W.J. BAILEY attended the convention at Leon Saturday afternoon. Mrs. ROY BROWN and daughter were passengers in Leon Saturday evening. Dr. and Mrs. WAILES attended the convention at Leon Saturday.
