Independent Sunday School closed Oct. 7th. Independent has long been our leading Sunday School and our energetic citizens will revive it again next year; the average attendance as reported by the Secretary was 34. DIED -- At his residence four miles west of High Point, Oct. 7th, Mr. BENJAMIN HAWKINS.
