It becomes so hard to pinpoint an area 150 years AFTER the fact. :-) I live near the Yuba River in CA and have tried, (unsuccessfully), to find THAT area on the "Yuber" where my great-great-grand, EBENEZER PRICE, dug for gold in 1849-50. Described as "Gold Run, about 30 miles north of Sacramento", I've exhausted all leads but one and have simply not taken time to check it out. It's "marked" as "Sutters Hock Farm" and is just off Hwy 99 on the way to Yuba City.
