    3. The Journal Leon, Iowa September 13, 1883 J.A. SILVERS, who has been working here the past season, has left for his home in Butler, Mo. Mrs. T.J. ROSENGRANT has returned from a two weeks visit in Taylor County. We learn that S.H. BRIDGES is going west for his health, having rented his farm to DAVE SHELINE for five years. Rev. T.C. HOOD delivered an excellent sermon at the McAllister School House Aug. 26th. Text -- And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country. -- Luke 15:15. W.H. JENNINGS and HENRY AMOS visited our Sunday School Sept. 2d. Miss JANE THARP, of this place, is going to teach a six month's term of school at the White Oak District in Garden Grove Township, beginning October 1st. MARRIED -- At Van Wert, Sept. 2d, Mr. DAVID M. SHELINE, of this place, to Miss MARY, daughter of Rev. HARLAN.
