    3. Amen, Sherry! I enjoy reading the postings, but have little time to follow-up on the research myself. Thanks to all who not only do the research, but are so willing to share the information with all of us! Besides most of the ones listed below, I'm also interested in Butcher, Cozad, and Evans. While driving through Nebraska earlier this week, I noticed a town on I-80 named "Cozad." Does anyone have any info about it's origins? We just returned about two hours ago to our homes in MO, but I thought I'd try to look into this week. Had never heard of the name until I began doing a little research a few years ago for my family name of "Gore."
