I am researching the surnames of Marvin, Pickering, Weaver, Meadows, Unger, Grimes and many other extended families. I have noticed a few others are searching the name of Wood.  My mother's maiden name was Wood, her father was LeRoy Wood and his father was Wilbur.  Wilbur left the family about 1916 and was never heard from again per my grandfather LeRoy.  I have very little information on Wilbur K. Wood and his ancestors, census records show his father was William Wellington Wood b 1850.  The Wood family was in Kansas for a short period of time so I thought there may be some connection to others on this list.  Would love to hear from anyone with connections to any of these families.
