My neighbor got a copy when she worked for a little grocery store and I believe it was their Mom's. 2 lb. dates 2 lb. raisins 2 lb. pecans 3 cups of sugar 6 eggs 1 lb butter 6 cups of flour 2 teas. soda 2/3 cup of whiskey Beat well 3 cups of sugar and the 6 eggs with 1 lb. butter. Add 6 cups flour, 2 teas. soda 2/3 cup of whiskey. Mix well. Add the 2 lb dates, 2 lb raisins, 2 lb pecans. .
