Don't find a William Boon in the 1882 History. There is a Dr J.H. BOONE who was one of the first settlers of Bloomfield. There was an earlier History of Davis Co, Iowa for sale on ebay, I think it closed today. there were quite a few bidding on it and the last time I looked the price was $51.00. I do have some other books that I had bought in Des Monies and I can go a quick search for BOON when I have the time.
