With regard to Daniel Moyer, born in NC & resided in Davis County.... I don't know how much help I'll be, but I have a VERY sketchy outline of this family. One of Daniel Moyer's descendants, his daughter Mary Jane, married into my McClurg family line. Also, it appears that Daniel's full name may be "George Daniel Moyer" and the information pertaining to him is in #4 (4th generation) below. Have you considered checking Appanoose County? My ancestors always considered themselves Davis Co. residents even though at times they were technically located in neighboring Appanoose. The same can also be said of Schuyler Co., MO. At one time, my grandparents lived in both states at once...most of the land was in MO & the house was in IA! Anyway, I decided to take a look at my Appanoose Co. stuff because William Henry McClurg, who married Mary Jane Moyer, is buried in Gregory-Kerby Cemetery. He lived in Davis Co., but the cemetery is in Appanoose...less than 1/2 mile from the Davis County Line. There are a couple of Moyer burials in this cemetery as well.
