Deborah, My gggrandfather, Samuel Duncan Wells (d: in January, 1892) and his wife Matilda Brunk Wells lived in Bloomfield, Davis County, IA. They both died and were buried in Bloomfield. My ggrandfather, Pleasant Wells was born in that town and later moved to Santa Rosa, CA where he died. Does the Wells family show up in your History of Davis County? I would appreciate any information you are able to find on Samuel, his parents, etc., and his children. Thanks for your help. Jim in CA
