    3. Jeanne - I agree with your thoughts about Thompson. I think that's one reason it caught my eye - Thomas Loyd's second wife was Selinda Thompson, marr. first to Jesse Frost, then widowed, remarried to Thomas Loyd. Then of course the Riley name was familiar because of Martha marrying a Riley. Kind of a double coincidence. And Selinda Thompson's family came from Shelby Co, IN as well. Lots of coincidences. I found the subscriber's name, a Loyd cousin who I have already had quite a bit of correspondence with, and continue to do so. Oh well, it was worth a try. I recently found 3 new Loyd cousins - all in the same week-end, so we've shared alot of information between us. No doubt the information on WFT CD3 was prior to our sharing. I have your Riley informations and names tucked into my Lloyd folder for future reference. I must admit that when I saw the "Marion Co." connecting I was hoping to find a definite link to my own family.... I still think there probably is one. It's my thinking that Thompson Riley was named after a family member with a surname "THOMPSON". I don't know if I mentioned it or not but I found a marriage of a Thompson Riley to a Amelia MARTHA HUMBLE 12/20/1836 in Orange Co, Ind. When you contact the subscriber, should you come across the names HUMBLE > RILEY > WELCH or REED I'd really be interested. Actually I found a tree with him in it (correct DOB and place) but when I requested the subscriber, they had only an address, and when I found a phone no. for the person I assume, they had moved and no other information available. [DEAD END] Hope you are more fortunate in contacting the subscriber with the Loyd\Lloyds.. Genealogy is lots of fun, but also frustrating. Please let me know if you come across anything that will help me "put a few more pieces into my puzzle" Happy Hunting, Jeanne </smaller> </excerpt><<<<<<<< Kay Masterson Researching: Baker, Barnes, Beeson, Brown, Boone, Chapman, Dement, Dodge, Jackson, Mendenhall, Mills, Sadler, Scholl, Talcott, Ball Gibbons, Kuhns, Loyd, McCormick, Thompson, Masterson. http://www.snowcrest.net/yreka/kay
