Looking for parents/siblings of David POWER, b. VA/WVA 1842, m. Elizabeth Jane FRENCH, August 23, 1970, in Grove Township, Davis County. Resided in Davis County (per censuses) 1870, 1880, 1885 1895. In the 1870 census David POWER (age 28) was listed as living in the household of Reuben JOHNSON (age 28), Reuben's wife Martha E. (age 18), their son, Birt (age 7 mos). No wife listed for David POWER but three children living with him, Sarah E. (age 4, b. PA.), Joesph F. (age 2, b. IA.) and Laura B. (age 1, b. IA). First wife unknown.
