Jonathan and Elizabeth Spence arrived in Davis County about 1849 with their 8 children coming from Bath County, KY. Jonathan and Elizabeth apparently lived out the rest of their lives in Davis County, IA. Elizabeth passed away about 1878-1880, and Jonathan died 12/10/1884.
