July 28, 1856, Bloomfield, Davis Co., IL moved from Wabash Co., IL to Bloomfield, Davis Co., IA between 1841 & 1846. There children were: Mary Jane m. Gerhard ROUCH, Manervia m. Edward HINING, John Henry m. Mary Augusta GRAVES, Catherine m. Jesse DILNER, James William m. Lucy DAVIS, Joseph (died in Civil War), Emily Margaret m. Charles HINING. In 1861, John joined the Civil War. After his return he married and then divorcedMary Jane Grider. Next he married Elizabeth Baker Wamock and had 2 more children: John Thurston b. Jan. 24, 1871 Bloomfield, IA m. Alice Louise Fodner, Elizabeth Theresa b. Jan 18, 1872, Bloomfield, IA. Richard M. DAVES b. abt 1806 MD and wife Almia b. abt 1810 PA. Children were: Adrial b. abt 1835 IL, Levi, b. abt 1837, Lucy b. March 7, 1840 MO, d. Sept. 26, 1897 Oelwein, Fayette Co., IA m. James William Shadle July 10, 1856 Bloomfield, Davis Co., IA, Julia A. b. abt 1849 Davis Co., Bloomfield, IA. He was buried at Paris Cemetary, in Paris/Bunch, Ia. He had been born in Illinois in ca1849. If anyone needs a 'lookup' in southeast Michigan, in re.
