Sorry all, Try this add. instead the other had a miss type.: http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Pointe/9019/index.html Also family descendent files requires: Microsoft word or word pad to open. We are trying to convert from rft. files to text files. So everyone can view them. Should have that problem fixed by this week end. But everything else on the page is able to be accessed by all. Hope this helps Sherrie & Alvin Smith awsl@mcione.com
Please come see our new home page. We have 12 descendent files on there now with over 30 surnames in it. A lot of links to help in family research, pictures, and much much more that we add to daily! Howdy everyone, The Davis Co. GenWeb site now has a big list of cemeteries that are in Davis County. I recently made inquiry as to the location of the "Spence" cemetery, (which is not on the GNIS list) and have susequently found its location, and names of folks buried there. The location of the "Spence" cemetery is in the Northwest quarter of Section 5 of Lick Creek Twp., Davis Co., IA. Some of the names of folks buried there are: Brewer, Dyer, Foster, Minor, Filcher (or Pilcher), Rayburn, Ryun, Spence. There are apparently 3 or 4 graves with funeral home markers, but no names or dates which are readable. The information was copied by Mrs. Olin Laws of Bloomfield, IA. and I think comes from the Iowa State Gen. Soc. The big list of cemeteries does not have a list of its inhabitants. Perhaps that is a project everyone could contribute to, such as has and is being done in Grundy Co., MO and at other sites as well. Any ideas? Joe
