    2. Vicki Lindsay
    3. Hello Everyone, For personal reasons, Yvonne has had to cut back on her online activities. She sent RootsWeb a list of several mailing lists she'd like to find new list administrators for. Of which, this list is one (and why I'm cross posting to several lists at once). If you are interested in becoming the list administrator for this list, please email listmaster@rootsweb.com. When emailing, please reference the list name. Sincerely, Vicki Lindsay RootsWeb Staff listmaster@rootsweb.com

    3. Hi,Lynn, As I recall, the book " History of Davis County 1882" has rosters of all of the Civil War enlistees from Davis County. I have been trying to buy a copy, but to no avail, so far. The book I saw several years ago, was at the Bloomfield,IA library. I think the name is Green CAVENDER, as they were listed in alphbetical order. -----Original Message----- From: Lynn Clarke <iowatex1@netzero.net> To: IADAVIS-L@rootsweb.com <IADAVIS-L@rootsweb.com> Date: Wednesday, October 20, 1999 8:11 PM Subject: [IADAVIS-L] Clarke-Cavender >History of Davis County 1882 > >Pg 522 >30th Infantry- >Charles Clark, captain, commisioned September 23, 1862. > >Pg 534 >3rd calvary co. 3. Hi! I'm new to the list. I would like to know if anyone has access to the marriage records of Davis County? I am seeking information for CHARLES CLARKE and DIANE (DIANA, DEANA) CAVENDER CLARKE. I'm pretty sure that they were married there, possibly around 1850-1865. Charles served in the 30th Ia Volunteer Infantry during the Civil War. They moved to Miltonvale, Kansas. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Lynn Clarke-Dallas, Texas iowatex1@netzero.net

    2. Thanks Jim for the children of Henry and Susie Tharp. I found the 1895 obit in the Genealogy room. Can it be copied? My sister didn't copy the obit verbatim and I would like to have it. I am looking for the marriage record of Richard and Margaret Hunter. Also the birth record for Richard,(1844) but not sure which county he was born in, I have listed Davis County. Thanks for all info concerning the Tharp/Moots Faith
