The Hanrahan line I know was in Illinonis in 1860s and John's wife Theresa immigrated 1849. In 1880 they were in Clinton County Iowa. 1890s Hanrahan brothers married Cahill Sisters then Hanrahan's moved to Cummings County, Nebraska. About 1901 two Hanrahan brothers moved back to Clinton County, Iowa were they lived until their death. I've seen the name Hanorah Hanrahan but I do not know the US origin of my Hanrahans, but they came from Ireland as did the Cahills.
