Hello Everyone: I was at a yard sale and found the following news clipping and marriage certificate. It is for the marriage of Artemus E. Snyder and Nellie Galusha 26 Dec 1900. The couple was from Fulton IL but married at the M.E. Church in Lyons. The cert. is signed by Pastor John Q. Robinson The newspaper clipping (no note of which newspaper) states: "The marriage of two well-known young people of Fulton occurred on Wednesday, December 26, that of Miss Nellie Galusha, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Galusha, and Arthur E. Snyder, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Snyder, the couple going to Clinton for the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Snyder are favorites in the society in which they move and are both known as aimable, industrious and pleasing, and are happily receiving the best wishes of many friends. The young people will begin housekeeping and their new life on the farm of the groom's father, J. H. Snyder, near Gardenplain." If this is your family, I would gladly send the certificate to you for what I paid for it plus postage.
