Hello Everyone: Love this weather! It is finally cooling off. I could handle this as a year round deal <grin>. With cooler weather comes the dreaded Football Season! My husband is an avid football fan and plays several fantasy games on and offline. This is the time of year I have to really share the computer. This means I'm not able to do as much with the site as I'd like to. I will still be collecting items to put online and if you send me something, I will get to it. Saturday, Sept. 21, will be the Clinton County Historical Society's annual Living History Day. I hope those of you in the area will stop by. There will be events all day long including a flee market and a Wild West Show. The Central Community Hist. Soc. is considering reprinting the 1879 History of Clinton County by L.P. Allen. From what I understand, the cost will be $50.00-$60.00 depending on the number of orders they get.
