Dear Clinton Mail List, My husband's great-grandmother Nettie Anderson grew up on Beaver Island at Clinton, Iowa. I am trying to figure out where this island is located in relation to the town of Clinton. It doesn't show up on Mapquest. In the 1900 census Nettie was living on 15th Avenue in the City of Clinton, 4th precinct, E.D. 11. Was this street on Beaver Island in 1900?
