MOORE, WOOD Richard Moore enlisted into the Civil War on July 18, 1861 serving in Company B, 1st Iowa Regiment, Iowa Calvary organized at Clinton County. Richard may have lived in Lyons, Iowa prior to his enlistment. Richard Moore married Emma Marie Wood on May 2, 1872. Emma Wood was the daughter of Albert and Lucinda Wood and the sister of Allison, Alfred and Lillian Wood.
