SHAFFER of Clinton, IA, 1907? They would probably have been about ages 37 - 41 at the time. Jacob SNYDER (1842 - 1917); wf. Lucretia [GREEN] (1846 - 1907); & son Leroy SNYDER (1876 - 1935) are buried at Mt. Hope, Sparta, Monroe, WI. Lucretia's obituary indicated three daughters, Mrs. S. BROOKS & Mrs. H. SHAFFER of Clinton, IA, & Kate OLSON of Hilmoe, SD. The 1880 Census showed daus. Carrie, 14, & Cora, 10, both b. WI. Carrie was probably Caroline, since Lucretia had a half-sister Caroline.
