    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/Qk.2ADI/1030.1040.1043.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Thanks again! That is really marvelous proof, and you provided it so quickly! Great work! The information on Cora B. [SNYDER], wf/o Horace H. SHAFFER, checks out perfectly. Cora was 10 on the census in 1880, which was probably a little later, after her tenth birthday in August. Her father Jacob SNYDER was born in Wisconsin (though one census says Illinois) & her mother Lucinda [GREEN] in Morgan Co., Ohio. The cemetery data also shows Cora as b. Aug. 1870. If Harry H. in the cemetery was born in Nov. 1867, then he must be Horace H. I suppose Harry could be a nickname for Horace, or it could be the middle name or a nickname for it. I've found Harry as a nickname for both Hans and Henry before. Unfortunately, the information doesn't fit as well for Carrie. Her husband was called S. in the obituary, and the one in your records was Carl. Carrie SNYDER and her father were born in Wisconsin and her mother in Ohio, but the Iowa census has totally different birth places. Carrie's age is off a couple of years, too, so I'll have to keep looking for her. Thanks again for your valuable service.
