The problem is the last name can be spelled so many ways and I'm not totally sure it was Schofer as written on the Marriage Certificate. She had a sister named Phillipina who lived with her husband Ludwig Glaser in Greene, Iowa and one named Louise who was married to Benjamin Kretschmer in Chicago. All their death certificates spelled the maiden name differently. If you could shed any light on this, I would really appreciate it... Jane
