(She died July 24, 1979.) The funeral will be 1 p.m. Friday at the Snell-Zornig Funeral Home. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be all nephews, Robert J., Russell, Donald, Marvin and Paul Nielsen, and Dallas Taylor. Visitation will be Thursday beginning at 3 p.m. Mrs. Benson was born July 3, 1880, in Denmark to Sanke and Anna Tiedeman Nielsen. She married Hugo J. Benson Oct. 8, 1900, in Clinton. He died in 1947. She is survived by two sons, Clifford, Mt. Carroll, and Lester, Tucson, Ariz., three daughters, Mrs. Mary Byers, Tucson, Ariz., Mrs. Leslie (Helen) Fowler, Tulsa, Okla., and Mrs. Dorothy Weaver, Tulsa, Okla., seven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one brother, Alvin Nielsen, Low Moor and one sister, Mrs. Ella Hogg, Clinton. She was preceded in death by her husband, three brothers, two sisters, and one son, Harold.
