    2. Good Morning Everyone -- The weather was so nice, no I feel like I am in a Winnie the Pooh 'Very Blustery Day' story! A good day to stay inside but I will be going to the Historical Society's Research Library. If anyone has any look-up requests, you can send them to me and I will try to get them done today. I will be leaving here before 12:30, so if you have a request send it by noon or it will have to wait until next time. Also, if you previously sent a request, it may have gotten deleted when my son did his magic trick, so it would be a good idea to resend your request if you haven't heard back from me. The people at the Historical Society would like you all to know -- There are only a few of volume one of the Once Upon A Time newspapers left and the Clinton Herald says, at this time, they will not be reprinting them. There is more info on the <A HREF="http://www.rootsweb.com/~iaclinto/history/onceuat.htm">Once Upon A Time</A> page on getting copies. And, we have added a picture of the Historical Society to their page and a neat picture to their Activities page along with some other changes. They will have wedding dresses on display for the months of May and April. There are some really neat ones. They have been working so hard on the Museum and have some other great displays up. If you live in Clinton and have any spare time, please consider stopping in and seeing what you can do to help. We have also added a look-up request form to the Historical Society pages. If there is something you need help with - visit the HS page: http://www.rootsweb.com/~iaclinto/cchs/cchs.htm For the people who have volunteered to transcribe stuff, I have more images online for you and you all should be hearing from me shortly. If you have an interest in helping get info online, visit http://www.rootsweb.com/~iaclinto/vols.htm and let me know if this is something you'd like to help with. If you haven't visited the Clinton County Message Boards at http://iagenweb.org/boards/clinton/queries/index.cgi you may be missing a valuable resource. If you haven't posted because you're not sure how or need some pointers, there is a good article at http://www.ancestry.com/library/view/columns/george/32.asp One last thing, I would like to have a page regarding Orphan Trains in Clinton County. If you have any info to share, I'd be glad to post it. If this is a subject that interests you, have you visited http://orphantrainriders.com/ ? There are some neat articles here.
