My husband's Behrens family immigrated in 1868 to Clinton County, Brookfield twp. IA. George S (or George Julius), wife Sophia and children (one is Henry J) lived in Clinton Co. through the 1900 census. There was a Caroline (Lena) who has disappeared and I am wondering what became of her, if she died or married. Well, I didn't answer your question, but curious if we connected somehow.
