He was quite famous as a professional footballer who played for England in the20's/early 30's. He was one of 6 brothers and sisters who were all born in Blackburn, Lancashire. His father was John William, and I think his father was John William also. The family came from a very small village called Worlaby in Lincolnshire which is near Hull. I believe JWH ( the First!) married in Hull. What info do you have? I could be your long lost English cousin!! David.
