It is a shame that cemeteries are left to grow over! I am not sure who can help, but I am posting this on the Clinton County mail list to see if anyone else may be of help. Also the Historical Society may be of some help! I am working on a book of local haunting stories and whether or not the history of certain places match up with their haunting stories. Recently, a friend and I "stumbled" across an abandoned cemetery between charlotte and goose lake called hickory hills. I heard of its location through an old co-worker and decided to check it out. Its in the middle of nowhere and completly overgrown with weeds. The headstones are mostly dilapitated, the newest grave dating back to 1923. Most of the names are the same: Gohlman. Do you have any information on this site? I'm not sure whether Hickory Hills will make it into the book, but we would like to see it taken better care of out of respect for the deceased buried there. Is there anything we can do? I would really appreciate any information you may have to share. We took pictures if those would be any help at all. Thank you for you time. -Amy Rogis ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- -- Sneak preview the all-new Yahoo.com. It's not radically different. Just radically better.
