I have discovered brief details, but am now searching for any further information on brothers Joseph Barker (born 4 Oct 1850) and Henry Barker (born 6 Mar 1852) (both born North Lincolnshire); emigrated to the USA in May 1873 and settled in Low Moor, Clinton County, Iowa. Joseph and Henry's youngest brother Nathaniel is my great grandfather. Henry and Joseph were both farmers. Henry I believe married Mary Dannatt and I have found 1 child, Chas. Joseph married Hattie Dawson, they had I believe 2 daughters, Carrie who married Ira Howson and Mae who did not marry. Anyone with further information on these 2 families, or what life would have been like for them in those days, I would love to hear from you! I have information about their siblings and parents, (and a little further back) which I would be pleased to share with you.
