Thank you for sending me this list. I think perhaps the Edward A. Baker and the Marie G. Baker at Saint Irenaeus could be them. His father's CW pension file lists him as Edward Alonzo Baker. I also found him as a child with the name of Edwin Baker. This was in his stepfather and mother's household. His World War 1 registration card says he was a cook in the National Guard for one year. The birthdate is one year and 5 days off. That isn't too far considering how far off some census reports are. It is also possible that with a birthdate of May 9, it could be read as a 4 depending on the penmanship. I also found Louis H. Baker in Saint Irenaeus in 1 7. Edward and Marie are in 2 7. His father died on Feb 27, 1891, so Ed(?) was less than 10 months old. His father was 59 when he died. I have contacted the Clinton Newspaper for obits, but they do not have them anymore. The files are at the Library, so I am going to contact them. Now that I have some possible dates for the obits, it will help. I have also asked what an ad in the newspaper would cost. Hopefully, I will find some living descendants to help me fill the gaps on this family. Blessings, Lorraine Leslie Besmer
