Hi all, Although I just now subscribed to this list, I have been working on the Brodersen family who came to Clinton County in the 1870s. Someone on the island of Fohr was kind enough to share this information with me and I wanted to pass it along to those who might be related. I'm hoping the monitor of the list will forward it to the list, if it bounces. Thank you so much. I'd also love to hear from anyone related who might have descendant information. I'll continue to send what I find out. Thanks! But since they moved to America in the 1870s it's not very much. Only the first child, Cornelius Johann, was born on Föhr. The others must have been born in the US. 8604 Claus Eschel Hansen, Oev. /121/ GRN 3230, 262 1, * 9.8.1814 Wyk † 27.8.1862 Oev. (Eltern: Friedrich Hansen u. Kerrin geb.
