Capt. Albert Duncan, and his brother Thomas who was a steamboat pilot, they lived at 830 N 2nd St. He built the "Park Painter" Capt. O. P. McMann or McMahon. He built the "Silver Wave" and Capt. We have Oliver McMahan. He first lived in Albany IL and later was a banker in Clinton IA (just across the Miss. River). He did have some sort of business in steamboats. Oliver had a brother Gregory who was a steamboat captain. Not sure if he is your O. P. McMahan. I'm having some trouble responding to this message.
