"Fred" Paustian, b. 1824 in Holstein and d. 1906 near Muscatine. Wife's name Caroline or Ida. Had at least one daughter, Ida Pauline, who is my g-grandmother. Family lived from the 1880's to about 1900 in Marshall County, Iowa. I have always believed them to be related to the Paustian families which settled in eastern Iowa, but have never been able to make the link. If you have info on this family, or general info on the Paustians of Clinton, Scott and Muscatine counties, please contact me.
