She was baptized at Grace Lutheran Church in DeWitt on May 8, 1927, and confirmed there on May 16, 1937. Helen was married to Henry Pelham on October 6, 1957. Helen Faye died at St. Luke's Hospital in Davenport on September 24, 1970. The rite of burial was conducted at the Grace Lutheran Church in DeWitt on September 26, 1970. Burial followed at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Mound, Iowa. Pallbearers were Hans Sorensen, Tony Jessen, Paul Hinck, Lester Stutzel, Curtis Young, and Pat O'Connell.
