His father's name was William Emil WULF, and I have found his name listed on the 1910 Census for Berlin Twsp. in Clinton County. It lists him as being 43 years old, which would put him being born in approx. 1867, and says he was born in Germany. According to my mom, his mother's name was Louise/Louisa SITTLER (or Sitler) who my mom also thinks was born in Germany, and he had older sisters - one also named Louise, which my mom called "Aunt Lou". After living in Iowa, they moved to Chicago, IL and owned a store there during the depression. My grandfather passed away in 1984 (on his 72nd birthday) in Steilacoom, WA and never really spoke about his childhood - there are rumors that his father's family might have been Jewish (although my grandfather was a Lutheran minister) and fled Germany to escape persecution - (we found pictures of a family member wearing a Yamuka - not sure who it was, though - I'll have to ask my mom). Any information on this would be GREATLY appreciated - I just wish he was around to ask all these questions. Thanks in advance for your help! Julie Curran

They had a son, Edward, in Teeds Grove 1877. Then onto Grundy county, George was born in 1880. They settled in Cedar Rapids in 1882, Linn County where she died approx. 1883.
