THere would more than likely not be any MUTZ in the united states as for this was Katrina's last name, most likely her parents did not come over from Germany and if they had I cannot locate them. As for John Brauer. John married Elsie FEUSS..d/o Henry F. FEUSS and Sophie Dorothea Louise BURRICHTER. Now John had a brother Carl I do believe, but dont know anything about him instead of that he died in Davenport Iowa. John had these children..... Harold Henry William Brauer-my grandpa born February 28 1930 and died April 21 1986. He married a LIVING FLEMING. Betty...married a Cubbage...Darlene married a LICHT....and Gerald Lee..married Living SHEDEK. I have these decendants but not their children. I have everything from Harold Brauer, as he was my grandfather...Just looking to find more out about Wilhelm Brauer and Katrina MUTZ and possibly there siblings and parents. I do have one more BRAUER but not sure if they are related to this line, but are threw a branch none the less. Arthur Richard Brauer born October 30, 1886 died in 1972 married Sophie Louise FEUSS born 10 19 1889 and died October 11 1976 in Maquoketa, Iowa. Their children are: Wilfred Brauer born 1912 died March 16, 1975 Leora Brauer Leona Sophia Brauer born august 21 1929 in Lowden That is really all the information I have. Does anyone know anymore about this family? Would like to know where they gone and who their decendants were, excluding my grandfather of course.

Rebeckah, "Any information" is to vague of a request. Aside from what you posted, no one knows what else you have and does not want to search for and report information you already have. It's better to post multiple requests and receive positive replies than to post asking for "any information" and receiving none. Also in the process of contacting Springdale Cemetery. We have not contacted the RR...since we don't know what RR line he was connected with. The family that we're working with descended from William. We have no contact with any of the other children families - James Jr., Adam or Mary. I am trying to find info about GGUncle Frank Miller. I am fairly confident that family Anna (NEAGLE) MILLER came to US in 1885 with son Theodore b.1876 & his brother Frank b??. (story goes there was also a sister, but nothing but story to back that). In 1888 Mother Anna dies, buried in Maquoketa, Jackson County Iowa. Anna's headstone reads daughter of L & K Neagle. I can find Theodor in South Fork, Jackson County in 1900 working as a hired hand for Siefert family. When his mother, Anna died Theodore would have been about 12 so not living alone. I have a picture of Frank with Theodore they both look in their 20's and look close to the same age (a couple years apart so Frank may have been 10 or 14 when Anna died). I don't find Theodore or Frank from 1885 until I find Theodore in 1900. They are nowhere to be found in the Jackson County census. Could someone help with Clinton County census 1890, 1895? Also, Did Elwood have a newspaper in 1888?? Thank you Betty
