Our Stina Casja married Anders Eriksson abt. 1846. The person who furnished this inf. said their mother was Anna Maja Larsdr. also a twin b. to Lars Persson & Anna Larsson. However, in checking LDS records I find this couple's twins deceased but another b. 23/jun/1798 in Stora Malm, Sodermanland, Sweden. I really need to find Stina Casja's father's ancestry & her husband's. This informant said father's name was Gustaf Petersson. Any & all information will be appreciated. It was surprising to see your reply since I had received no notification & since starting chemo had not been checking ALL queries. Thanking you in advance!

    3. Hi all, Although I just now subscribed to this list, I have been working on the Brodersen family who came to Clinton County in the 1870s. Someone on the island of Fohr was kind enough to share this information with me and I wanted to pass it along to those who might be related. I'm hoping the monitor of the list will forward it to the list, if it bounces. Thank you so much. I'd also love to hear from anyone related who might have descendant information. I'll continue to send what I find out. Thanks! Then I would chide you for using "Looking for information" as your subject line. We're all looking for information kid, so why advertise it? Most research volunteers would just pass by such a post. But since I'm a sucker for young colleens in distress, thought I'd give it a try. On Ancestry I found a WW2 army enlistment record for a Marcus E. Shelley, born Ia. 1916, and apparently was living in Genesee co. Mi. but enlisted at Fort McClellan in Alabama on 28 Oct. 1942. I then went to the ssdi and found a Marcus Shelley born 17 Dec, 1916, passing unknown in Jul of 1961 but ss card applied for in Mi. Then I went to the 1930 census for Surname Shelley living in Genesee co. Mi. And there I found the household not of Edward G Shelley, but Elmer G. Shelley. Elmer is 46, wife Edith W. is 38, children are Margaret E. 21, Charles E. 19, Eugene M. 13 and Harold W. 8. All are born in Ia. except young Harold, born Mi. Believe this is your family and it can be found on the 1930 census for Flint, Genesee co, Mi. Roll 985, E.D. 27, NARA film pg 87A. Hopefully this will get you started Monica. Dick
