I´m well on the track for the Ekdahl´s but then i only had Willards wife´s first name ,no last name so with help from an very kind researcher I found out that Frank was living with the Ekdahls in 1910. But then from Stutzel to Strutzel...I find it interesting to find out who my emigrants married, if they only married people of swedish decent or the married others from other countries. Willard lived in Argentine, Wyandotte in the 1890´s to at least 1910, where he was a grocer. In 1920 they lived in Falls, Richardson, NE and then I loose track of them until they die in SD. There is iformation that they have been in Mexico from 1928-46 and that Willard was working in a mine. Annie died in 1959 in SD and Willard died in 1949 in SD. 2 children Sylvia and Golda/Goldie. In the census listing I´ve found a Frank Joseph b ca 1890, Agnes b ca 1894, Lena, and George J, all at sometime residents in Wyandotte co, KS and might be siblings to Anna. Margaret is listed in Wyandotte, 1910-1930. I guess that Mattias and Margaret lived in Lyon county? Not sure where it is, if it´s near WyandotteI know there is lots of Strutzel´s in this area of Iowa but haven´t found any info that would fit. Family lived from the 1880's to about 1900 in Marshall County, Iowa. I have always believed them to be related to the Paustian families which settled in eastern Iowa, but have never been able to make the link. I found them in the 1900 Clinton County,IA US census records. John LORENZ born Oct 1858 in Germany. His wife Magaritha LORENZ born July 1875 (Lux.) but said Germany. Daughter Albertine born March 1894 in IA. Son Leo born Jan 1896 in IA. Son Fred born Nov 1898 in IA. Also John's father Reimer LORENZ born Nov 1828 in Germany (died 1901 in Clinton, IA) and John'd mother Anna born 1820 (according to census)and she died in 1908 in Clinton,IA. There was also his brother Wilhelm (aka William H.) LORENZ who was a policeman in Clinton, IA and his wife Mary. But I am not too sure of William and Mary's children. Also a brother Reimer LORENZ Jr. and his wife Dora. I do not know if they had any children. Any infromation would be helpful since I live in California. Thank you very much in advance for any help. An entire Electors Register from the 1930's/1940's for Nenagh.
