    2. Hi All I am from Illinois & not sure where to request a marriage license copy for my parents from May 21, 1938. They were married in the City of Clinton Courthouse, I was told and then returned back to Illinois. Would there be any Clinton Co. registry that would be available in addition to the license? Please direct me as to where to mail or call for a copy of both. Thanks much, Bonnie

    1. 1900 Soundex
    2. Marion E.Travis
    3. I am searching for Jurgen Gluhm who farmed in the Big Rock area of Scott or Clinton Counties in the time period 1890's to about 1914. I have been unable to find him on the Scott County 1900 or 1910 Federal Census. Since Big Rock is right on the Clinton County line I thought perhaps he was farming in Spring Rock Township in Clinton County. Does anyone have access to the 1900 Soundex who might be able to do a lookup to see if Jurgen Gluhm is on that Census? Jurgen had a wife named Karna or Carry. Jurgen was a widow in 1920 as shown by the Scott County Federal Census. I have found no record of his wife's death, however, Jurgen Gluhm is listed as having a lot in the Big Rock Cemetery, but a listing of burials in that cemetery does not show a Gluhm buried there - perhaps no marker for his wife. Jurgen died in 1934 and is buried in Davenport. Greetings from South Dakota Marion Travis
